Igor A Chaves is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
He is a Civil Engineer, holds a Master’s degree in structural engineering and has been awarded a PhD for his studies in corrosion analysis and prediction.
He is the recipient of the ACA’s 2011Young Corrosion Professional Award, 2012 and 2017 ACA best paper Marshal Fordham Award, as well as the 2016 Brian Cherry International Scholarship Award.
